Asking for quotes
Asking for quotes can be useful if you, for example, have lower prices for a product from another supplier with equal or similar specifications, if you think your shipping cost is not what you expected, or if you need your order to be shipping with different INCOTERMS than what we offer online, for example, DDP.
After adding all the products you want to your cart, follow the next steps to create (ask for) a quote:
Creating a quote
Go to your cart page.
Check the products and quantities in your cart to verify that all that you need is there.
Instead of proceeding to check out, click on the "Request a Quote" button. This will open a pop-up window to create the quote request.
Fill out the request form (try to also attach documents that can help us understand your request better), and then click on the "Send Request" button.
After sending your request, you will be re-directed to the "My Quotes" page, where you can review your quotes.
After creating a quote, you can manage it and follow up with the negotiation until it has been finalized and closed.
Go to the "My Quotes" page.
Click on the "View" link to open the quote you want to manage.
When in the quote page, you can do many things, such as:
- Change product quantities.
- Remove items from the quote.
- Check the comments made for that quote.
- View the history log of that quote.
- View and change shipping address and shipping methods.
- Add more comments and attach more documents.
- Close, delete or print the quote.
Finalizing the quoting process
After sending the request for a quote, the negotiation process will begin, where you will receive messages from our sales representative, and you will respond.
After the negotiation of the quote is done, you will be able to click on the "Proceed to Check Out" button in the quote page.
